Allamakee-Clayton Electric Cooperative is a class A member of Dairyland Power Cooperative and the Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO).

MISO, also known as Midcontinent Independent System Operator, is an independent, not-for-profit, member-based organization responsible for operating the power grid across 15 U.S. states and the Canadian province of Manitoba.
Dairyland Power Cooperative generates electricity by using both traditional and renewable energy resources to provide safe, reliable and affordable electricity.
