Staking Engineer
Allamakee-Clayton Electric Cooperative is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Staking Engineer. This position reports to the Director of Operations and Engineering and is primarily responsible for providing construction plans that meet NESC code, securing easements, member relations, and integration of data into GIS mapping systems. This position also supervises contracting work of underground facilities.
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of a high school diploma with experience in surveying techniques, drafting, GPS design, and understanding of distribution construction units. Closely related and progressive job experience may be considered in lieu of additional technical training. Must possess and maintain a valid Iowa driver’s license.
